Video news releases and advertiser-funded programming are areas we operate in regularly.

Whether it's a news feature story to promote a new product or a television series to promote a range of tourism experiences ; we have the contacts to get your video news release 'on air'

Over the past 3 years we've concentrated on promoting tourism using VNR's and have had stories air on BBC Worldwide, ITV, Sky Sports, ESPN, Fox Sports, CNN and Current TV to name a few.

Previous clients include Tourism Queensland, The Tourism Authority of Thailand, Tourism Tasmania, Jetstar Airlines, Ferreti Yachts, Winnebego Motorhomes, Feadship, Lee Marine, Nomads Hostels and Mandarin Oriental Hotels to name a few.

Our video news releases are submitted directly to programme editors we have relationships with.

They are also uploaded to online video portals and news wire sites such as Beam ups, Current TV, CNN
iReport, iTunes and Associated Press where they spread virally to online video portals seeking content.

Recently we were commissioned by the Tourism Authority of Thailand to produce a series of video news releases to promote certain tourism products.

Video Journalists were used to produce short feature stories which were given or sold to broadcasters in the UK and Asia.

This story on the Hill Tribes of Chiang Mai was uploaded to the CNN portal iReport and  subsequently aired on the main channel providing positive exposure for the countries tourism industry.

This is one area where we have significant experience,  providing exposure for brands by producing news stories that are aired on television.
Ants Media Group was the official TV crew for the 2009 Kings Cup Yachting Regatta in Thailand.

During the week we produced a daily video news release that was provided to sailing media outlets.

We also produced a 9 minute feature story that was given to our friends at international sports distributor Pro-Active Television. The segment opposite aired on the magazine show 'Watersports World' which is distributed to broadcasters like Sky Sports, ESPN and  Fox Sports.

Producers of the programme say the show is broadcast in 16 countries to more than 300 million homes.
In 2006 we produced a TV series (6 x 23mins) on the Motorhoming lifestyle in Australia.

The series was supported by 'key figures' in the motorhoming industry and the Tasmanian Government.

Ants Media Group negotiated with a major television broadcaster to have these 'travel shows' screened Australia wide every Saturday afternoon for a 6 week period.

The aim of the project was to encourage 'self-drive' tourism and promote motorhomes as the best method of transport for retired Australians to use when holidaying in Tasmania.

In 2004 we teamed up with certain sectors of the backpacking industry in Australia to produce a 13 part TV series about British Backpackers travelling up the coast of Queensland.

The result was a series of half-hour shows called Gap Downunder that aired in the UK on BSKYB.

The series continues to promote those involved at the website www.gapdownunder.com and other portals such as the Nat Geo Adventure Travel Site.

For 6 months we travelled with backpackers on the East Coast Trek producing television stories on their adventures. Most were on their gap year in Australia.

This advertiser-funded programming series is an example on what can be achieved when government, airlines and tourism stakeholders work together to promote a specific market.
